We're Learning
This morning, the snow continued to fall and blow. Visibility was reduced to almost zero at times. and with eight significant accidents on the interstate between Billings and Bozeman, the highway has been closed down. School is canceled, many businesses are closed. By early afternoon, the sun was shining so Katherine and I decided to make use of the reprieve and make a run to the grocery store for a few things. We brushed all the snow off the car and "swished" and "swooshed" our way down the hill and into town. In the thirty minutes we were gone, the sun was gone and the snow was back. As I came up to the house and was maneuvering myself into position to back the car into its parking space, I got stuck in the high snow. Fortunately, the snow chains were in my trunk and Jörg was in the house. He came out and put the chains on and we were able to give our new snow chains a trial run.
