April & May in Pictures
April and May have been busy months. April found us in the middle of our largest ever rental vacancy with three simultaneous vacancies including one with a legal component. By the time we got that under control and filled each of the vacant units it was almost May. Somehow the days always feel full even though the outcomes don't look that impressive, but we have accomplished several things. The vegetable garden is planted, a few flowers are potted and ready to grow and add color to our otherwise minimal landscaping (new construction is so barren), and we have made several attempts to bring a lawn back to life (with only modest success, which is quite disheartening). With May comes the end to many of the activities that we do; MOPS and Cross Connections end, AWANA ends for Patrick, and many end-of-the-school-year activities begin - concerts, recitals, tournaments...
